Tournament Elimination Policy
De meeste toernooien eindigen wanneer één enkele speler alle fiches in het spel heeft verzameld, en in sommige toernooien, wanneer alle overblijvende spelers dezelfde prijs zullen ontvangen (bijvoorbeeld, wanneer een satelliet toernooi vijf (5) identieke prijzen toekent, kan het toernooi eindigen wanneer er nog vijf (5) spelers over zijn).
Indien twee of meer spelers in dezelfde hand worden uitgeschakeld, eindigt de speler met de meeste fiches aan het begin van die hand vóór de speler(s) met minder fiches. Als alle spelers de hand begonnen met een identiek aantal fiches, wordt de eindrangschikking bepaald door de tafel locatie, waarbij de eerste uitgeschakelde speler links van de button eindigt vóór de speler(s) die verder weg zit (zitten).
Wanneer spelers uit GGPoker toernooien worden geëlimineerd, zal de software tafels "opbreken" om beschikbare lege plaatsen op te vullen. Spelers worden willekeurig opnieuw geplaatst en dit kan ertoe leiden dat een speler meerdere big blinds achter elkaar moet plaatsen. Bij gelegenheid kan de GGPoker software tafels in evenwicht brengen om ervoor te zorgen dat alle tafels een gelijk (of zo dicht mogelijk bij een gelijk) aantal actieve spelers hebben. Spelers die verplaatst worden naar balanstafels zullen, waar mogelijk, verplaatst worden naar gelijke posities ten opzichte van de blinds.
Most tournaments end when a single player accumulates all of the chips in play, and in some tournaments, when all remaining players will receive the same prize (for example, if a satellite tournament awards five (5) identical prizes, the tournament may end when there are five (5) players left).
If two or more players are eliminated on the same hand, the player with more chips at the start of that hand finishes ahead of the player(s) with fewer chips. If all players started the hand with an identical number of chips, finishing rank is determined by table location, with the first eliminated player seated to the left of the button finishing ahead of the player(s) seated further away.
As players are eliminated from GGPoker tournaments, the software will “break” tables to fill available empty seats. Players are re-seated randomly and may result in a player having to post multiple big blinds in a row. On occasion, the GGPoker software may balance tables to ensure all tables have an equal (or as close to equal as possible) number of active players. Players moved to balance tables will, whenever possible, be moved to similar positions relative to the blinds.
