Waarom is dit ingevoerd?

De belangrijkste reden is om collusie in online spellen moeilijker te maken. Door spelers minder tijd te geven terwijl hun kaarten zichtbaar zijn, wordt collusie moeilijker en minder effectief. In onze test vertraagde het het spel niet, en namen de spelers nog steeds evenveel tijd om preflop beslissingen te nemen.

Kan dit worden uitgeschakeld?

Nee, er is geen optie om dit uit te schakelen.

GGPoker is trialling a new feature we call 'No Turn, No Show' to make games safer and to bring an element of live poker into the online world.

How does it work?

After hole cards are dealt, they will not be revealed to the player until it is their turn to act.

Why has this been introduced?

The main reason is to make collusion harder in online games. Giving players less 'dead time' with their cards exposed makes collusion more difficult and less effective. In our tests, it did not delay the game, with players still taking the same amount of time to make preflop decisions.

Can this be deactivated?

No, it is not an option that is configurable.

Is this going to be applied to all tables?

Currently, the feature is being trialled in one game type, with a view to wider implementation. We would be happy to get your feedback on this innovation.
